ABOUT THE TOUR:
The combined tour of Xunantunich and Inland Blue Hole National Park lets you explore Belize’s history and its refreshing natural wonders. It all starts with a scenic drive into Western Belize. Then, you’ll cross the Mopan River via a hand-cranked ferry, a unique and fun way to reach the archaeological site of Xunantunich.
Your guide will lead you through the site of Xunantunich, which translates to “Maiden of the Rock.” Climb the magnificent El Castillo pyramid, the second-highest structure in Belize. Standing 130 feet tall, it offers breathtaking panoramic views of the jungle and Guatemala.
After exploring the Mayan plazas, relish a delicious Belizean lunch before heading to the Inland Blue Hole National Park.
The refreshing swim in the sinkhole’s sapphire-blue waters is the perfect counterbalance to your morning hike and climb.
