Requisite for a Belize Destination Wedding:
Before applying for the marriage license, both of you must be in the country for a minimum of three days
A marriage application can be submitted to the Registrar’s Office on the first business day following the three-day period
The application process is one day and requires proof of citizenship with your passport, an original birth certificate, an original divorce decree, or a death certificate, if applicable
A Justice of the Peace must sign these documents.
